Unique way to address the aches and pains
Anyone committed to heavy, intense regular training will have their own personal collection of irritations, aches and pains. While muscles get stronger, ligaments and fascia often become tighter and more painful, reducing function, flexibility and range-of-movement. The key to effectively addressing these problems is in methods which are cheap and easy to administer.
Addressing the aches and pains
Compression bands are an excellent tool for addressing the aches and pains that stem from many of your favourite exercises, like kipping pull-ups, muscle ups, dips, bench press, and other staples. The trick with a compression band is to bind it around a limb above, below or across the joint in order to dam the blood flow for a brief period of time (between thirty seconds to two minutes). Once the band is released, fresh blood will flood into the affected area, irrigating it with blood and oxygen. While the Compression Band is highly effective for stimulation of blood flow and pain relief, it should never be used as a substitute for medical advice. If pain is severe or prolonged cease use and consult your doctor.
