Lysterfield Park
The most popular would have to be the Lysterfield Mountain bike park that hosted the 2006 Commonwealth games event.
The park is only 40 minutes drive from the city and is open every day of the year.
The park features 20 kilometres of exciting courses and trails that will suit riders of all ages and abilities.

You Yangs Regional Park
Another great place to ride is the You Yangs situated 55 km south-west of Melbourne just off the Princes Freeway at the Lara or Little River exits.
The park has around 50 kilometres of tracks spread over two tracks that will suit all ages and abilities.
It features an easier track in the Kurrajong Plantation and a more technical track in the Stockyard area.

Great Dividing Trail
Situated only 1.5 hours from Melbourne is the Great Dividing Trail running from Bendigo to Bacchus Marsh.
Originally intended for bushwalkers it is now open to mountain bike riders in most sections. The trail is made up of 4 different sections including the Lerderberg Track, Federation Track, Dry Diggings Track and the Leanganook Track.
