Considering it’s Women’s Ride Month here in March, we’ve decided to celebrate it a little.

Two events are on at BikeNOW (South Melbourne) in the coming two weeks, focusing both on skills and comfort. Thursday is the first of the two, and this event will be focusing on skills needed to maintain a bike, including how to change a tyre or fix a flat tube quickly and with ease, as well as how to keep gears running smoothly, without hearing that “clicking” noise when changing. Cleaning a bicycle is also an important (yet sometimes tedious) task, yet it is essential for a perfectly running machine. Attendees will be shown how to properly clean and look after their chain and drivetrain, as well as getting their bike frame to shine nicely.

The Facebook event can be found HERE. If you click “attending”, we’ll put you down on the VIP list for both or either of the free evenings.

Refreshments will be provided on the evening.
