bikeNOW can provide your school with fun educational bike programs and activities.
This can range from ride education to bike mechanics.
In the past we have provided schools with open day sessions or 2 hour programs that either utilise your schools fleet of bikes or allows the students to bring their own along.
The programs can compromise of comprehensive bike safety checks and ride induction that includes skills and information relative to MTB riding plus what cross relates to urban cycling.
Other features:
· Fun activities that will build basic riding skills including an obstacle course setup in the school grounds.
. Basic bike mechanic workshops to teach students how to maintain their own bike.
The outcomes involve:
· Cycling safety, both off road and cycling in the community.
· Health and personal well being benefits.
· Benefits for family and community, including environmental impacts.
· A fun day for all involved.
We can provide for you:
· Infrastructure for both bike transportation and storage at school.
· Hire of both bikes and bike transport.
· Training and education for students leading up to an event e.g. Around the Bay in a Day, Great Victorian Bike Ride.
· 2-6 day wilderness camps customised to your preferred location or our proven wilderness winners including Mt Buller, Goldfields Trail and Mt Sterling.
