bikeNOW have been taking schools and corporate groups into the wilderness since 1998, during that time we have fine tuned a few excellent programs that are now open to the public.
We regularly run tours at Mt Buller, Castlemaine Goldfields and Lysterfield that you can now participate in using your own equipment or ours. These ride selections incorporate some of the most awesome mountain bike trails you will ever experience, guaranteed!
The trails can be ridden (or walked) by anybody of reasonable fitness. We’ve taken men and women from 14 to 65 years of age, so all can enjoy the trails. You don’t need to be a good MTB rider however you do need to be competent on a bicycle. We’ll teach you the off road skills from beginners to advanced. Our programs are not about how fast you are, we focus on developing your skills.

We Deliver:
- In school 2 hour classes teaching mechanical skills, getting around (commuting) on a bike safely, school ground obstacles/activities preparing for camps.
- 1-3 Day location programs custom designed or our ‘off the shelf’ proven programs.
- 2-6 day wilderness camps customised to your preferred location or our proven wilderness winners including Mt Buller, Goldfields Trail and Mt Sterling.
We Hire:
- High quality Road Bikes or Mountain Bikes (retail value @ $1500 each) replaced every year and maintained by bikeNOW.
- Vehicle transport trailers transporting from 10-30 bikes each.
- A range of other wilderness equipment.
We Sell:
- Transport trailers.
- Bikes / accessories at much reduced prices for your staff and/or school fleet.
- Bicycle compound or storage systems.
- On site bike servicing.

We developed the activities standards (AAS) adopted by the Australian body ORCA (Outdoor Recreation Council of Australia). Plus developed the curriculum and assessment delivered through La Trobe University.
